Feb. 2012 Maureen, Loa

My good friend Maureen back in Toronto.  I wanted to make sure I included this pic in my blog.  I couldn't remember if I did it earlier.  We had a great visit.  She is a TA at the school that Abby goes to and she is the Mom of my last special student, Niall.

My cutie put tuttie, Loa, one week old.

March 2012 Knitting with Val and Seniors at West End

Val getting us some conch salad at West End.

Val is a good knitter, I am an apprentice knitter.  Val was in touch with someone about knitting with a senior's group in West End.  It was a lot of fun and the women were great.  Two men came and we played dominoes with them.  It was great to be a part of...

Back in the Bahamas, The Coffee Group...March 2012

Looking down at Grand Bahama Island.  Our second home.

We have a Coffee Group at Unexco every Wednesday morning and Sat. morning.  The women are from England, Canada, U.S.A., Italy and the Bahamas.  It's a lot of fun talking with everyone about family and things.

A very big coffee cup at Unexco and breakfast sometimes.

Perth, Ottawa, Carol, Hazel...Feb. 2012

On our way to Ottawa we went through Perth.  What a beautiful and quaint place.  We stopped for lunch at Grandma's Lunch Box to get ideas for our Cafe' and some food.  It was great.

Visited with highschool friend, Carol Sinclair and friend Joe at a great little pub.  We had a beer sampler of 6 different beers, about 2 1/2 ounzes each with a right up about where in Ontario they were brewed and other information about them.  It was so much fun trying them all.

Me, Carol and Joe, Anthony took the picture.

Granddaughter, Hazel, and grandcat, Willow in Ottawa.

It was snowing on the way home.  What a beautiful site.

Can you believe this?

My feet.

Arielle, Benson, Feb. 2012

This is my nieces new baby, Arielle.  She was born the day before my granddaughter Loa.  Mom had two new granddaughters born two days.  It's be great to see them grow up as cousins only a day apart.  When Kate was born, her cousin Chelsea was born 4 days later and her cousin, Leslie, was born in November.  It was so cute watching the three little girls grow up together.

I'm a Great Aunt here with Arielle.

Great Grandma Bierma, again, with Arielle.

Niece Christa with her new daughter, Arielle.

Then we went to visit my brother Robert and my sister-in-law, Noella.  There dog Benson is on the couch with Anthony.

Benson with my ball of wool.  Too cute.

Amherst Island, pancakes, ice, friends, Feb. 2012

We went to the Tuesday Pancakes at the Presbyterian Church and Nancy had this great apron on "Have you hugged a Presbyterian today?"  That's soooo cute.  It was a great time to catch up on a lot of people in a short time and have a great lunch.  Thanks so much for the pancakes and fellowship.
Me and my dear friend Jean.  I went to visit her at Henderson Place.  We had a great visit.
North Shore, the water was soooooo cold.

The ice frozen on the bushes on the beach are so magical looking.  This is right out in front of Joan and Dan's farm.

Cows, Horses, Amherst Island Shore lines, Feb 2012

A cow at Joan and Dan's peeking around the barn.

I think they like to pose.  They are always so curious to see people looking at them.  Isn't she beautiful?

My neighbour on Amherst Island, Larrd, on his horse on main street in Stella.  I don't know how to spell your name Lard, I'll have to check the Amherst Island Phone Book.

South shore on Amherst Island.  I think the South shore is the most rugged and beautiful shore on the Island other than the North Shore where Joan and Dan live.  That has the prize winning sunset.

More of the South Shore.

Joan and Dan's Kitchen Party in Feb. 2012

Rick, Dan and Sheila have a new band.  This is Dan's music room.  Anthony is playing my mandolin in the picture.

Neighbour friends dancing at the Party.  Great music, great musicians and a great time.

Wood splitting, my favourite job and then Joan and I were piling the wood on the wagon.

This years barn cat, Fluffy.
