Friends of ours that come into the Cafe' often built a Yurt on their property on the Island. Isn't it interesting?

One of the summers we rented some cottages on Vardy Lake. I came home from Calgary/Okotoks for the month of July every year, with Kate and Sarah. Michael, Christa and Sarah.

We bought a boat that was in Welland, a 33 foot Chance. Anthony brought it down the Welland Canal and sailed it to Port Credit Marina. We had it for a year and then bought the 43 foot Swan of Tuonela.

After the Emerald Music Festival, Jean Tugwell's Bday, Wooley Booley Run...
Dan and Joan's family and friends at the Cafe' for breakfast, after the Music Festival was over. It was a fabulous time, over 450 people bought tickets. Way to go Joan and Dan. It was non-profit so they donated the extra money to the radio station on the Island. CJAI 92.1

The Wooley Bulley Run on Amherst Island. Organized by friend Joe and my old high school friend, Carol Sinclair. 27 runners, 5 k and 10 k down the 2nd Concession Road.
