The Hudson River to New York, New York

This is Anthony working on the rigging at the mast.
We're in Norfolk/Portsmouth Virginia right now at Watertide Marina. We have some crankshaft problems so we need to get a new coupling for the crankshaft, get pulled out of the water to reinstall it and have the propeller pulled and put back in with the new parts. We'll be here a few days or maybe a week. It's a great place and temps are in the high 70s.

This is a picture of a light house out in the middle of the Hudson River. There were quite a few of these. They looked so neat right out in the middle of the river.

This is one of the many mansions, estates on the Hudson. They were huuuuuge...some new some old, Vanderbilt's Estate, Franklin D. Roosevelt's, Washington's headquarters, etc. We couldn't identify which one was which and if we had the right names for the buildings we saw but the ones we did see from the water were amazing.

Another mansion on the Hudson.

There were lots of huge, beautiful bridges.

Sally at the helm. She was a great help and fun to have on board. She flew back to Toronto on October 27th.

Just an artsy shot of our wheel.

The shoreline was awesome. I love jagged rock.
