more of New York

This building in on Ellis Island.

The New York skyline as we are leaving for the Atlantic.

Who's behind Anthony? The Statue of Liberty.

The Statue of Liberty is on it's own island.

Sunset on the ocean. We went out on the ocean for 36 hours. It was very lumpy and we couldn't get any weather reports out there so we headed back in and decided to go on the Delaware Bay.

We had a little visitor. Two little warblers came onto our boat when we were about 24 hours out on the ocean. A little sparrow came on too and ate a bunch of our spiders.

We think it was a Cape May Warbler.

I was on the swim platform taking weeds of the rudder for the autopilot.

We had 2 sunny days on the Delaware Bay.

Look behind me at the lighthouse in the middle of the Delaware Bay.

Three Mile Nuclear Plant. What a huuuge smoke stack.

Lots of great looking tugboats.

We were anchoring on the Delaware Bay.

Sunrise. We tried to get up and be off by 7:30 in the morning. The sun goes down early around 7:30 and we try to find a place to anchor by 5 or 6 at night so that gives us 10 hours of sailing or motoring. We got two really great days of sailing on the Chesapeake Bay.

There were some beautiful boats along the way.

As we came into Annapolis sailing school was heading out. It was soooo cute. We anchored here off the Naval School and then dinghyed into the closest club. We had a great meal at the Boat Yard Bar and Grill and took a taxi to the grocery store. It was an amazing place, soooo many boats.
