Ocean Reef...Beacon School again...Potluck at Gabe's...The Three Mosquitoes and Monday Night Party

Hank and Diane at the Potluck at Gabe's. There are fewer and fewer boaters all the time. We had only six boaters at Gabe's Potluck. Gabe lives in one of the villas right behind Ester's.

This is my famous Potluck/Picnic knapsack. It has everything in it...plates, silverware, thermos for coffee, cooler bag for wine, cutting board, salt/pepper, bowls for dessert, can opener, wine bottle opener, napkins, tablecloth, etc. I love it, thank you so much Maureen, Brian and Niall.

Gabe and me at the Potluck at Gabes.

Anth and Me.

Mary and Dave...they are boaters who dock on the other side of the Ocean Reef...they have left now...for Florida, I think. They are from Scarborough.

Just some more shots of Ocean Reef, this is the Gazebo I walk by every morning on my way to Tennis or Ester's Pool. Look at that Poinciana Tree in blossom!

This is Nina and Cor's home. To the right is the cutest little guest house just big enough for a bedroom, double bed and side tables and French doors looking out on their pool. Nina and Cor manage Ocean Reef. I think Nina's father, Peter, owns it.

Who is that guy? Oh no, Hank has shaved his beard off, it's getting too hot here.

The Poinciana Tree up close.

Ester's....she's closed right now, you can tell by the white shutters are drawn....it's a great place to meet for Potlucks in the evening or Bingo in the day time. She makes a great breakfast and hamburgers and wonderful fries.

The bigger boat on the left is where Tom lives and the smaller boat on the right is his mega dinghy.

This is the opening where we put our boat for the 3 months we'll be gone. There is more room here for the boat to go up and down and sideways if there is a Big Blow. The tennis courts are right beside it too, and the playground for the kids.

There's the gym...it air conditioned. It's too hot to go in there now....you sweat too much.

This is a little glass bottom boat, here at Ocean Reef.

This is Les' Fishing Boat. It's great going out with him....I love fresh fish.

Most of the BBQs on the Island are charcoal ones like this....in the background you can see the propane one on Hank's boat.

This is our little pet Curly tail at the end of our dock.

This is Ning Ning and Robert's boat/home. They live here with their five little dogs, Suki, Elvis, Carlos, Jimmy and Freckles.

Anthony walking up to Beacon School after Doris H. picked us up.

Beacon School is in the shape of a U and this is a picture of the opening, yard in between the two rows of classrooms. I took the picture from the door of the Resource Room where we play guitar and sing with the kids.

This is the wing of the school where the staff room is and the main office and some classrooms on either side.

We really enjoyed the time with the kids and meeting the teachers.

We need some used guitars if anyone has some in their closet and they aren't using it. These kids really loved playing the guitars and getting to come to us.

A cutie put tutie.

This is a view from our window in the classroom we were in.

Beautiful Hibiscus.

Not Hibiscus but I don't know the name.

The Three Mosquitoes......Me, Diane and Ning Ning. We hung out together a lot...shopping, doing crafts, talking, swimming, and just being together....two great women in my life.

And it looks like the Electric Slide on Monday Night Bahamian Party Night.

Ning Ning and Diane....I'm going to really miss you guys...until September....

Charles and Phyllis doing the Cuban Shuffle.

And there they are again.

More boaters, Nicola, James and Jack.
The black box is a wee video of Anth and I dancing. It's my first attempt to put a video on my blog. I still am not sure what commands I clicked. I'll try again. It's very short and Diane took it. Thanks Diane.
