Siskins and Guy Fawkes Night

Janet's bird feeders.  Every morning Janet and I sit and have coffee while looking out the glass door with our binoculars at the bird feeders.  We're living at Janet's until we head for the Bahamas on Jan. 7th.  Birds we have seen are American Siskins, Red Polls, Chickadees, Downie Woodpecker, Hairy Woodpecker, Red-bellied Woodpecker, Starlings, Morning Doves, House Sparrows, House Finch, Gold Finch, Grackle, Blue-Jays, Red-breasted Nuthatch, White-breasted Nuthatch, Cardinals, ????  I can't remember any others right now.

American Siskins, they are so cute.

Guy Fawkes at Cherry Allen's and Mark Ritchie's Sheep Farm, Footflats.

They had a huge bonfire to burn an effigy of Guy Fawkes or in our case an effigy of the coyote because the coyote is a very bad guy on a sheep farm.

Lots of fun and great chili.
