Kate's pics of the Bahamas

These are Kate's pics. They were so good I wanted to share them with you guys. This is Taino Beach. We had a great day there. It's just east of Port Lucaya which is east of Ocean Reef. Not far away but does require a car.

Kate and Rich on Taino Beach.

This is a little Curly Tail that was near our picnic table. What a cutie.

They had a swim up bar at Taino Beach, inside a man made cave and they sold Pirate Juice in a bucket....what a great idea....five kinds of rum, pineapple rum, coconut rum, mango rum, golden rum and white rum.

There is a glass wall behind us holding the water of the pool in the pool....what a great bar. Rich and Me.

Being CRAZY.

Bohdan walking on the Beach.

A quiet beach at sunset.

Kate on Bikini Bottom Beach

Bohdan and me cooking supper again at his condo. We made some great meals.

Me getting ready to go snorkeling.

Me snorkeling off the end of my boat in the canal. There are lots of fish, blue tangs, yellow snapper, parrot fish, Sergent majors, angel fish, coral, sea horses, fire coral, fire worms, jelly fish, etc.
We're back at Garden of the Groves, on of my favourite places on the island. The raccoons are caged here so they won't eat the ducks. There aren't any wild raccoons on the island. They are not native to the island.

It's US.

Our Katie Mae.

A turtle looking to be fed.

A Curly Tail.

Rich and Sands.

Look at this turtle.
There is that Heron again....still at Garden of the Groves.

Mangold....no man....man....mangroves, that's what these are. Red, white and green ones. A lot of fish spawn here and the baby fish are protected from the big fish here because they can hide around the mangrove roots.

Gold Beach, the tide is really high so there isn't much of a beach. This is where Pirates of the Caribbean's 2 and 3 were filmed. This is Rich walking up from the beach.

Kate in green.

Rich on one of the Cruising Beach Bikes that they rented from Ocean Reef. These bikes are so comfortable but some of the newer ones that came in, the chain kept falling off and the seat kept falling back....some of the bikes were good though.

Kate loved this sign at Bikini Bottoms....they are open from 10:00 to DRUNK. It's a fun bar, live music on Friday and Saturdays good food.

Out sailing on the ocean. Look at that spray from the boat hitting the water.

Bikini Bottoms....a favourite place of Rich and Kate's.

The Castle owned by the guy on the island that owns Burger King. It's just down the road from us. Gorgeous building.
