185 Dinghy Ride...Birding along the Horse Trail...

Heading down the canal towards the ocean.  The opening in the trees is the way to the ocean.

Our working...working dinghy motor.  The dinghy motor isn't always working so I'm very happy this year it has been working consistently.

A beautiful old fixer upper, fishing boat.  Last year it was under the water.

Julia Butterfly.  Janice, a boating friend, and I went birding along the Horse Trail.  We walked for 3 hours and saw only 2 birds, a mockingbird and a Red-winged Blackbird.

Long-tailed Zebra Butterfly.

Land snail.

My dirty feet.  The trail was very sandy.

This tree was burned in a bush fire and then a vine was growing on it.

Pine trees.

Bottom of the Century Tree or the Agave.

Very little flowers.  Janice used her hand to show perspective for the size.

Janice feeling the ferns that look so delicate but are very tough.

The Blue Castle...owned by the family that owns the Burger Kings and Kentucky Fried Chicken places on the Island.
