Coffee Group, Boaters: Feb. 2011

Me at Island Java in Port Lucaya.  We had coffee at this place most Wednesdays and Saturdays but when we came back this fall it was closed.  Boo hoo.

Sea beans that Mike and his wife had.  They picked them up on the beaches on other islands.  They are called hamburg beans.  Boaters polish them and then make them into jewelry.

This is sea glass.  Boaters make this into jewelry too.

Bohdan and Mike.

Paul and Sharon Lamont, they are from Lakeshore Yacht Club in Toronto.  They are staying with us on the boat.  Anthony isn't at the boat yet...he stayed back on Amherst Island waiting for x-rays on his back and news as to what to do about his back pain and discomfort.  As it turned out they couldn't do anything so he came down south and joined us on the boat.

Eddie and me.  Eddie works at Ocean Reef.

Mike's wife and me.

Grandchildren come boating too.

Doris Hamilton's house/factory for making her fashions.

One of Doris Hamilton's shirts.  She batiks the material and then makes the material into dresses and shirts.

And hipsters, small purses.

Doris' factory.

Sally's friends and Anthony.

Ladies from the Coffee Group at Island Java.  Ann is from England, the lady in the middle and Lorna, on the far right, lives at Darshana on Grand Bahama Island.

More ladies that are in our Coffee Group.  Four of the ladies from the Coffee Group came to visit us at Stella's Cafe' in the summer.  What a great surprise!  They stayed at the Lodge on the Island.

Marion and me.  Marion lives at Darshana and is from England, Wiltshire.
